Carbon Cycle – Get your Website Carbon free

Interesting: Found a way to CO2 neutralize my Website with a service called Oeko.eu

How does that work?

The Service is easy to use: You Sign up at the Website and get a Widget to add to your Website. That widget you then can add to your Blog Sidebar or Blog Footer. The Guys over at Oeko.eu then pay 5 Years in advance to neutralize your Energy and CO2 Costs in return for participating.

That way every hostingprovider and Website own can turn his personal Blog or Service into being Carbonfree for the next 5 Years. I’ve talked to Martin, one of the Personal at Oeko.eu
He is an Online Marketing Strategist with focus on Green Energy.

The Mission of i-Magazine is to make the Information less Energyconsuming and therefore they also offer a PDF Digitaliziation Service: You can Upload your PDF to Yumpu.com and get back a PDF that you can Embed to your own Website later. Pretty neat service aswell. On their Homepage, they even show the number of Trees saved by using User that have been using their service.

The Sign-up Page can be found here
